Igor & Nadica Stancev Green Adult Midge is THE must-have fly when brown and rainbow trout are swallowing smaller adult greenish midges and/or buzzers in the surface film, either in rivers or lakes.

A very much life like imitation that has often proved to be a great pattern when facing wary and selective reservoir trout on small clear color adult chironomids.

I saw grayling and wild trout moving several meters from their position to intercept and swallow this ultra-realistic fly pattern.

Available in #16, #18 & #20, it makes all the difference on selective fish feeding for buzzers in the film.

Directions for use:
This is not the kind of fly to be cast all day as it is a rather delicate pattern that needs to float well for the fish to go for it.

Better to be used occasionally on rising or cruising spotted fish.

You priorly need to dry it thoroughly in a sheet of amadou or other absorbing fabric, then apply a small dose of non-sticky hydrophobic product to the fly's thorax to keep it in the film. I preferably use High N Dry Liquid floatant, TMC Dry Shake Liquid or Dry Dip Super or Loon Lochsa.

Recommended tippet diameters: ø 0.15 to ø 0.10 mm depending on fly size, fish selectivity and water clarity.

The use of excellent, fine fluorocarbon lines that sinks slightly is a plus: TroutHunter Fluorocarbon 5X, 6X, 7X, RIO Fluoroflex Strong 5X to 7X
