“The Jaudy” 7'9"#3-5 is ideal for pretty much any situation one can find along smaller streams, casting dries upstream and nymphs down the other way.
It is great for “aggressive”-type dry fly fishing when a lightweight, performance tool is required for quick hooksets on stealthy surface takes.
Description
This a featherweight but still lively with an impressive power reserve.
The inherent action allows the use of a minimum of 3 lines: a DT-3, a WF-4 or even a true-to weight WF5!
The rod will adapt to any small-stream situation due to its versatility: roll casting, bow-and-arrow casts, smaller flies, bigger ones, you name it.
The great nervous action can maintain a narrow loop so pinpoint presentations are the norm.
It carries the name of yet another Breton coastal stream, dear to my heart where I have lived many a treasured moment as a fly angler.

The rod builder’s note
“Whooee, this rod is so sweet: it has a super-nervous tip and quite a powerful butt for total line control. It’s not stiff at all yet superfast and responsive. It can take an array of different fly lines, from a 2-weight (yes!) to a WF-5 and always feel great. Here’s the my-one-in-a-million advice for you: pair it with a Snowbee Thistle Down 2-5 floating line, you’ll be sold forever!”
