Flexo Crab Olive improved version

The Flexo Crab is probably one of the best crab patterns ever invented. No matter the situation, this just seems to be the code cracker.

We've re-done our Flexo's to be equipped with properly weighted tungsten dumbbells with this variant

Dressed on a Gamakatsu SL12.

The Olive version is a great pattern to stalk European sea bass in estuaries, but can also be slowly retrieved with a jerky motion close to the bottom to target sea breams (gilthead and black), species that are more and more numerous on the Channel coastlines.

The Flexo Crab Olive is an excellent pattern for sight fishing for sea bass in Breton (Brittany) estuaries and wherever European sea bass feed on green crabs and other crustaceans.

Crabs are almost impossible to imitate with any real degree of subtlety, but this fly uses a left-field approach.
Throw it into the salty water and you'll see what we mean – the fly is almost perfectly camouflaged, as the seabed shows right through it.
We've read that permit and other tough cookies like big, spooky bonefish and bluefin trevally fall regularly for this fly because they lose sight of it and then, when they do see it, they fear that it will disappear again, and rush into eating it.
Believe me, it is deadly.
We offer them in a variety of sizes and shades, all tied on the unbeatable Gamakatsu SL12 which is more than capable of landing any of the above, although, if it is the Triggers you are after, take spares as they will munch through just about anything given enough time.
