The Magnetic Minnow Blurple is perfect for targeting larger fish, whether that be Stripers, Snook, Red's and even Tarpon.

A subtle amount of flash added for when you want it.

Tied on a Gamakatsu SL12s #2/0, #4/0 & 6/0.

I tested this fly in the Bijagos archipelago and it is one of the most effective pattern (along with the two other color versions) to specifically target big Jack Crevalle.

In its smaller version, it also attracts many other medium-sized species.

It is also an outstanding pattern for European sea bass fishing.

The 2/0 and 4/0 version is to be cast with rods of the 8 to 10 weight range while the 6/0 is dedicated to fly rods over 10 weight.

This Blurple version seems to be particularly attractive to Kéré Jack Crevalle when they hunt in ambush around rocky points in bright light.

To be used with a shock-tippet of 60 lbs to 100 lbs depending on the size of the fish you are looking for.
