RIO Striper Fly Lines 30 ft long Sink Tip 250-450 grains
RIO Striper Fly Lines 30 ft long Sink Tip are the fatal weapons of the series when it is necessary to fish deeper and quickly present a fly beyond 4/5 meters and to sollicitate active fish near the bottom, on drop-off, in channels and in all areas where the current is too strong for the intermediate tip model to fish efficiently. With a bit of practice, these lines can be cast to the backing without forcing and their compensated density allows an optimal control of the fly on its entire swim, from its impact in the water, to its feet, whether you operate from the shore (use of a shooting/stripping basket is mandatory) or from a boat.

Ideal fly lines for all European sea bass fishing (and related species) between 3 and 10 meters of water. The density must be adapted to the fishing territory and rod power. A must to go after the fishes hidden near the bottom structures in the middle of the current or in the deep channels at the end of the ebb tide and the beginning of the flood tide and every time that a strong luminosity and/or the warming of the waters brings down the feast of the bass (forage fishes) in the lower layers, under the thermocline. The reinforced coating resists better than other lines to abrasion and rubbing against underwater structures.

Overview RIO's Striper fly lines are designed for the modern striper angler, and feature quick-loading, easy casting heads. There are three fly line types within this series: 1) a full floating line, 2) a clear intermediate sinking line with luminous running line, and 3) a series of 30 ft long sinking head fly lines with intermediate running lines. Each sinking fly line is density compensated and allows anglers to stay in touch with the fly. Welded loops on both ends of all lines make for fast rigging. In addition the line is built with SlickCast—the slickest, most durable coating on the market.
