Brittany Fly Fishing "Sea Bass Special" (European sea bass & striped bass) knotted tapered leaders.
Home-made profile designed for fine sea bass fly fishing.
These leaders are all made by myself from RIO Fluoroflex Saltwater line (one of the best fluorocarbon sea flies on the market) for maximum discretion in shallow areas and clear water and a high resistance to abrasion.
They are designed for Striper lines from WF-7 to WF-9. Leaders designed to last.

Features

•RIO Fluoroflex Saltwater Tippet Material, top-of-the-range fluorocarbon that is invisible underwater and highly resistant to abrasion.

•All knots, perfection loops and blood knots are neatly and progressively tightened.

• The butt is ø40lbs/0.584mm and the tippet is ø16lbs/0.33mm or ø12lbs/0.279mm.

• Total length is 10' to 12'6" (3.10m to 3.80m).

It is possible to shorten the last strands of the leader to add a finer tippet in ø12lbs, ø10lbs or even ø8lbs depending on the size of the flies used, the size of the desired fish, the type of sector prospected and its underwater obstruction (open water, rocky and/or grassy edges, oyster beds, etc.).
