Snakes have long been a go-to pattern for many stillwater anglers, especially when targeting large resident fish feeding on fry or recently stocked rainbows.

This is a tandem fly with two hooks, the first at the head and the second at the end of the rabbit strip, like a trailer hook.

Extremely mobile, they mainly imitate a leech, but it is their enticing appearance that drives trout crazy.

This FMF Large Unweighted Snake Olive 2.95" (75 mm) is designed to be fished fist over weedbeds or shallows!
