The Gamakatsu SC15 is a short shank, wipe gap hook with a super sticky point.

The shank length works well on hi-tie style baitfish patterns like the Runar's Deceiver.

The smaller sizes are great for small streamers for Trout.

The Gamakatsu SC15 also works well as a tube-fly trailer.

Gamakatsu's SC15 is a high-quality saltwater fly hook with a short shank, wide gap, slightly bent-in point and small barb.

The problem with many classic saltwater hooks is that they can't be used for both freshwater and saltwater fly fishing the wire is too thick and strong. Not the SC15!

The smaller the hook size, the thinner the wire - without loss of strength.

This hook can be used for many different fly patterns: smaller sizes are ideal for shrimp, etc., while larger sizes provide a solid base for streamers such as Clouser Minnows, Surf Candies, etc.

Of course, the SC15 is also perfect for bonefish or permit flies!
