A great fly to put on if you’re not sure what the fish are taking.

This has caught fish feeding on house flies, ants and olive spinners.

It just looks like fish food!

The FMF Buckey's Magic Gnat Barbless is a very effective fly on selective fish on the surface or in the film on emerging chironomids.

It is also very effective when fish are feeding on very small insects emerging in the surface film.

Advice for use:
Fine and delicate fishing of flats, glides, pools and areas of calm, clear and fine water.

Recommended tippet diameters: 0.10mm (7X) to 0.13mm (6X) (TroutHunter Fluorocarbon & Nylon Tippet material, Rio Fluoroflex Plus Strong)

Rod weights: #2 to #5.

Best times:
Summer selective wild trout fishing (May to end of September) and Autumn grayling fishing.
