Particularly good early season and those late summer evenings when trout really seem to lock on to gnats.

A great fly to put on if you’re not sure what the fish are taking.

This has caught fish feeding on gnats, midges, house flies, caenis and ants

The FMF Griffith's Sparkle Gnat Barbless is a very effective fly on selective fish on the surface or in the film on emerging chironomids.

It is also very effective when fish are feeding on very small insects emerging in the surface film.
