The Paradun Quill Olive is a perfect imitation with a delicate parachute tying to imitate small mayflies of the genus Centroptilum, Baetis, Serratella, Alainites.

With the hackle wound horizontally around an upright “wing” or post, this easy to see and very buoyant style of fly sits low and delicately on the water.

Some anglers use nothing else.

This superb Paradun style pattern is the perfect dry fly when fish are feeding on duns and spinners of mayflies.
