The Rainy's Bristol Bay Sockeye Fry Olive/Pearl fly realistically represents a juvenile Pacific Sockeye salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka).
This fly is very effective in Europe for catching trout in rivers, lakes and reservoirs.
Available in #14 & #16 hook sizes
Tips for use:
Given its small size, it is recommended to use a sufficiently thin tippet so that the artificial lure's swimming action is not restricted, with 0.20 mm fluorocarbon being the upper limit not to be exceeded.
It is also advisable to use a loop knot to promote the lure's mobility.
It can be used with floating lines in very shallow water, as well as Hover or Intermediate lines of various sink rates.
