Zero Backlash Clutch
The simplicity of design, larger components, and non-corrosive materials ensure reliability and smooth consistent performance every time the reel is put to the test.
The Zero backlash clutch locks down without slipping even at the highest of drags, truly offering the angler maximum drag when it matters most. The Bauer clutch also possesses zero start up Inertia, this refers to the initial resistance met when drag is first engaged.
By eliminating start up inertia and enabling our reels to have the same resistance from the beginning of the run to the end of the run you will lose less fish and be able to fish light tippet with confidence.

Debris Sealed Carbon Drag
